The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy sheriffs that patrol the streets of Commerce deploy out of the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station, located at 5019 E. Third Street, East Los Angeles, California. There are a number of criminal street gangs in Commerce, including the Bandini Midgets, the Stoners 13 in East LA, the Choppers 12 and the Varrio Choppers 12 Midnight gang. In large part due to have to deal with these criminal street gangs, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Sheriffs have adopted the mentality that they are “The Baddest Gang In Town”.
