THE CULVER CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS A SORDID REPUTATION FOR BEING A BRUTAL AGENCY.

Culver City Police Department officers were 7.5 times more likely to stop Black people than white people based on stops per 10,000 residents. Officers stopped people 8,271 times in 2023. However, the Culver City Police Department doesn’t discriminate when it comes to police beatings, false arrests and malicious prosecutions.

FAILING THE ATTITUDE TEST IN CULVER CITY.

LAPD Batting Practice in the ParkIf you do verbally protest or challenge police actions in Culver City, you probably will end-up getting arrested on some bogus resistance offense, and, often, good old fashion police beating.

Culver City PD Officers routinely beat their victims for Contempt of Cop; verbal protest or verbal questioning of police orders, such as “Get out of the car”, or “Sit down on the curb”. Thereafter, they arrest their beating victims for “resistance offenses” such as violation of Cal. Penal Code § 148(a)(1) (resisting and/or delaying and/or obstructing a peace officer in the lawful performance of his/her duties); Cal. Penal Code § 240/241 (assault on a peace officer), Cal. Penal Code § 242 / 243(b) (battery on a peace officer) and Cal. Penal Code § 69 interfering with a public officer’s discharge of his/her duties of his/her office via actual or threatened use of force or violence.

This is not lefty propaganda; this is reality.
