THE POLICE IN SOLANA BEACH ARE OFTEN BRUTAL AND ARE INSTITUITIONALLY DISHONEST.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office deploys to patrol Solana Beach from its North Coastal Station, located at 175 North El Camino Real, Encinitas, California (Serving the cities of Del Mar, Encinitas and Solana Beach).

The population of the City of Solana Beach has an estimated population of 13,000 residents.

The demographics of the City of Solana Beach are: White 75%, Hispanic 12%, two or more races 7%, Asian 5%, African American 1%, and other race 0%, Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander 0% and American Indian or Alaska native 0%.

Historically, there has been substantial criminal street gang activity in the Solana Beach community known as Eden Gardens, also know as La Colonia de Eden Gardens. This of area of Solana Beach was as a center of criminal street gang activity. The main criminal street gang in Eden Gardens is known as Colonia Eden Gardens, also known as EG, CEG, and La Colonia Boys or La Colonia Eden Gardens, which is a Latino street gang. See, La Colonia De Eden Gardens San Diego CA, YouTube.

Eden Gardens signOften in places where the police have to contend with street gang members on a daily basis, the police adopt a street gang mentality themselves. With the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, their motto is “We’re the baddest gang in town”. The San Diego Sheriff’s Office deputy sheriffs know that the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office has their backs.

No matter how outrageous shootings of civilians by San Diego Sheriff’s Office deputies, the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office is just not going to criminally prosecute them, and their own agency will always take the position that any such shootings were justified; no matter what. See for example, DA won’t file charges in 7 police shootings around San Diego County, San Diego Union-Tribune, July 4, 2025. See also, Officer Involved Shootings, San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. In none of the many Officer-Involved-Shootings shown on the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office website page were the officers criminally prosecuted. It just doesn’t happen in the real world, save some extremely rare incident where the politicians just cannot possibly justify what a video recording clearly shows.

IF YOU ARE THE VICTIM OF POLICE MISCONDUCT, JERRY L. STEERING CAN HELP YOU ACTUALLY ENFORCE YOUR RIGHTS BY WINNING YOUR CASE.

Screen Capture from LA ABC 7 Interview of JLS on Jovan Jimenez caseThe only thing that matters when enforcing your rights, is whether you win your case. If you don’t win your case, then you have no rights because you have no way to enforce them.

Just because the police violated your constitutional rights doesn’t mean that you can do anything about it. In order to “do something about it”, to enforce your constitutional rights, it takes a great deal of experience, insights, skill and savvy. You need a unanimous jury of usually 8 jurors to vote in your favor in federal court to win your case. If you mouth-off to the cops or don’t do what the police tell you to do or cuss out the cops, or act like a jerk, one or more of the jurors in your case may not vote for you. That is the reality in which we all live.
