As the old saying goes, “The young lawyer knows the law, but the old lawyer knows the Judge”. THE POLICE IN PICO RIVERA ARE OFTEN BRUTAL AND CRUEL, AND ARE INSTITUTIONALLY DISHONEST. Pico Rivera is a city located in southeastern Los Angeles County, approximately 11 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. The City of Pico Rivera contracts its police services with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Unfortunately, that agency is often very cruel and brutal entity. There is almost no limit what they will do to protect themselves from the victims of their outrages. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy sheriffs who patrol Pico Rivera frequently beat, falsely arrest and procure the malicious criminal prosecutions of their victims. This is not lefty propaganda; this is the reality of our times. As of the 2020 United States census, Pico Rivera has a population of 62,088. Pico Rivera is over 90% Hispanic, and the City is riddled with Hispanic street gangs, including the Varrio Pico Viejo gang, the Varrio Pico Nuevo gang, the Jardin 13 gang and the Rivera13 gang; these gangs being connected to the Mexican Mafia. Accordingly, much of this core criminal conduct against the public by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy sheriffs who patrol Pico Rivera is a result of them having to deal with hardcore Hispanic street gangs on a daily basis. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is an agency that itself is composed of various Station Gangs within its ranks. These gangs include Station Level gangs that require gang “prospects” to actually murder a civilian to be admitted to the deputy gang, such as the East Los Angeles Station “Bandidos”, and the Compton Station “Executioners”. There is a never-ending battle in Pico Rivera over who controls the streets of Pico Rivera. Sometimes the deputies act hastily and kill innocent Pico Rivera residents. County Sheriff’s Deputies in Pico Rivera Sues Department, KTLA, Mar 21, 2019 (another unarmed man shot and killed by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department). Notwithstanding the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy gang problem being so horrific that the California legislature had to ban deputy gangs at California police agencies with the enactment of Cal. Pen. Code § 13670. However, to date, nothing has been done to eradicate these deputy gangs from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, IF YOU ARE THE VICTIM OF POLICE MISCONDUCT, JERRY L.
