As the old saying goes, “The young lawyer knows the law, but the old lawyer knows the Judge”.

THE POLICE IN WILMINGTON ARE OFTEN BRUTAL AND ARE INSTITUTIONALLY DISHONEST.

The Los Angeles Police Department is often a very cruel and brutal entity. There is almost no limit what they will do to protect themselves from the victims of their outrages. They beat, falsely arrest and procure the malicious criminal prosecutions of their victims. This is not to say that all, or even most LAPD officers are gangster street criminals.

LAPD Batting Practice in the ParkThere are many decent and honorable LAPD officers. However, in the real world, when a fellow LAPD Officer outrageously beats-up, or outrageously tases, or outrageously pepper-sprays innocents, and then falsely arrests and procures the malicious criminal prosecution of an innocent for nothing more than “Contempt of Cop“, don’t expect those otherwise decent and honorable LAPD officers to stand-up for the innocent victim of their fellow officer and tell the truth about what their creepy fellow LAPD officers did to you. It’s not going to happen.

Even those otherwise decent and otherwise honorable LAPD officers who witness their creepy and cruel fellow officer are not going to be labelled as a “rat” and ultimately be ostracized and eventually run out of their nice well-paying job and pension with the LAPD. It’s not going to happen.

Moreover, the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angles is riddled with criminal street gangs (the ones without the badges), and the LAPD in Wilmington consider themselves “The Badest Gang in Town” in their efforts to take control of the streets of Wilmington. See, 18 arrested, 40 ghost guns and several pounds of illegal drugs seized in Wilmington gang crackdown, KABC7 Eyewitness News, February 28, 2023. See also,  Federal Racketeering Indictment Targets Wilmington Street Gang, United States Department of Justice, November 9, 2016 (“RICO Case Names 29 Defendants Allegedly Affiliated with Wilmas Gang, a Violent and Racist Enterprise Linked to Murders, Assaults and Drug Trafficking”).

Wilmas 13 (W13) is an almost exclusively Mexican American gang from Wilmington, Los Angeles, California. The gang is made of three sides. East Side Wilmas (ESW), West Side Wilmas (WSW) and the North Side Wilmas (NSW) for each side of Wilmington. All sides of the gang are rivals with each other. These Wilmington street gangs are related to the Mexican Mafia, and are extremely dangerous.

Wilmington gangsters 2Because of this horrendous Hispanic Street gang problem in Wilmington, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has become hypervigilant in the Wilmington area. The LAPD officers become bitter and numb to the plight of those innocent residents of Wilmington whom they are there to protect from these criminal street gangs, and often treat the innocent as if they were criminal street gang members.

Having brown skin does not mean that one is a criminal street gangster, but in Wilmington, the LAPD might think that your brown skin at least entitles them to stop you in the street or pull you over in your vehicle, search your person, your vehicle and your belongings, and, if there is any verbal protest by you to LAPD’s treatment of you, being taken to jail on some trumped-up bogus “resistance offense”, such as  violation of Cal. Penal Code § 69 (resisting officer with force), Cal. Penal Code § 148(a)(1) (resisting/delaying/obstructing a officer), Cal. Penal Code § 240/241 (assault on officer), Cal. Penal Code § 242 / 243(b) & (c) (battery on officer causing injury) and Cal. Penal Code § 245(c) (assault on officer with weapon).

This is not lefty propaganda; this is reality.
