As the old saying goes, “The young lawyer knows the law, but the old lawyer knows the Judge”.

THE POLICE IN ROSEMEAD ARE OFTEN BRUTAL AND ARE INSTITUTIONALLY DISHONEST.

Banditos and Executioners tattoosRosemead is a city in Los Angeles County, California with a population is approximately 58,000. Rosemead has a population of approximately 60% Asian, 30% Hispanic, 8% are White and 1% are Black or African America. The City of Rosemead contracts its police services with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

At the station level, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is for the most part run by criminal gangs of deputy sheriffs. Many of these deputy gangs have been in existence for more than 50 years. These deputy gangs are run by “shot callers”, and some of them require deputies to actually murder a civilian on the job to be admitted to the station gang. See, Fifty Years of Deputy Gangs in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Loyola University, 2021.

These Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy gangs include the “Banditos”, the “Buffalo Soldiers”, the “Cavemen”, the “Cowboys”, the “Cowboys”, the “Executioners”, the “Grim Reapers”, the “Jump Out Boys”, the “Little Red Devils”, the “Pirates”, the “Posse”, the “Rattlesnakes”, the “Regulators”, the “Spartans”, the “Tasmanian Devils”, the “Three-Thousand (3000) Boys”, the “Two-Thousand (2000) Boys”, the “Vikings” and the “Wayside Whities”.

LASD Sheriff Robert Luna 2The Los Angeles County Civilian Oversight Commision has called for the disbanding of these criminal deputy gangs. See, Civilian oversight commission calls for sheriff to outlaw deputy gangs, ban their rituals, Los Angeles Times, March 3, 2023. Moreover, in 2021 the California Legislature has banned deputy gangs at police agencies in California. See, of Cal. Pen. Code § 13670.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has also announced the banning of these deputy gangs in the Sheriff’s Department. LA County Sheriff’s Department announces policy formally banning deputy gangs, KABC7, September 19, 2024. However, notwithstanding all of the lip-service paid to banning these gangs, nothing has been done to do so.

Rosemead also has a problem with street gangs without badges; regular street gangs such as the Varrio Las Lomas gang and the Bartlett gang. The Varrio Las Lomas gang goes back the 1940s in the City of Rosemead. It is a Latino street gang that has a close history with the Mexican Mafia. See, Varrio Lomas in Rosemead, California. Streetgangs.com.

Varrio Las Lomas gang 2So, Rosemead residents have a choice; call the local Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department gangsters to deal with the Varrio Las Lomas gang or just don’t call for help.

If you run into a Sheriff’s Department deputy, the best thing to do is just shut your mouth and do what they tell you to do, and you probably will not end up not getting beaten or falsely arrested for some fabricated “resistance offense”.
