The City of Poway contracts with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department for its police services. The Sheriff’s Department station that patrols Poway deploys out of the Poway Station located at 13100 Bowron Road, Poway, California. San Diego County Sheriff’s Department has long had a well-earned reputation for being brutal and not being accountable to the public for their outrages committed against the public. Many of these acts of brutality by San Diego County Sheriff’s Department deputies sheriffs have adopted a street gangster mentality in response to the rather large presence of criminal street gangs in Poway.
