As the old saying goes, “The young lawyer knows the law, but the old lawyer knows the Judge” THE POLICE IN LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA, ARE BRUTAL AND INHERENTLY DISHONEST Lancaster is a city in Northern Los Angeles County, in the Antelope Valley of the Western Mojave Desert in Southern California. As of the 2020 census, the population of the City of Lancaster was 173,516. In the fall of 2023 the City of Lancaster, California, created the Lancaster Police Department. Lancaster Police Department Chief Rod Armalin called the Lancaster Police Department a “hybrid policing program”, and indicated that Lancaster Police Department police officers will focus on low-level crimes involving the homeless and serve as a secondary support system for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department that remains the main law enforcement agency in the Lancaster area that also includes the City of Palmdale. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is a very cruel and brutal entity. There is almost no limit what they will do to protect themselves from the victims of their outrages. They beat, falsely arrest and procure the malicious criminal prosecutions of their victims. It has been no secret for quite a few years now that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has focused its policing efforts on black members of the Lancaster community. Some cops just don’t care for black people living in a clean and relatively upscale suburb like the City of Lancaster, and it’s no secret that the Sheriff’s Deputies in the Antelope Valley stop, search, beat, falsely arrest and maliciously prosecute black people in that area of Los Angeles County. This is not woke or lefty propaganda, but real numbers of real beatings and real false arrests. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is an inherently cruel, brutal and dishonest police agency. They are literally gangsters with badges. Again, this is not woke or lefty propaganda. Los Angeles County’s Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission — which includes community and faith leaders along with a former federal judge, attorneys and a retired LASD lieutenant — released a scathing 70-page report last year calling deputy gangs a “cancer” in the department with a history going back to at least 1973. The 3000 Boys, Wayside Whities, Banditos and Reapers are just a few of at least 10 mentioned in the report. See, Gangs within the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are banned with new policy, CBS News, September 19, 2024. See also, Civilian Oversight Panel Adopts Recommendations to Eradicate Deputy Gangs, Los Angeles County Civilian Oversight Commision, March 3, 2023. Deputy Gangs like the Compton Station “Executioners” actually require their deputies to murder a civilian on the job to be admitted into the “Executioners” gang. Their admission into the “Executioners” gang includes the gang throwing an “inking party” for the newly admitted deputy for him to get his station tattoo. Although the Compton Station is officially commanded by a LASD Captain, a line deputy makes the scheduling and basically runs that station. Again, none of this is a joke. See, L.A. County deputy alleges ‘Executioner’ gang dominates Compton sheriff station, Los Angeles Times, July 30, 2020. The Deputy Gangster problem at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is so well know and so notorious that in 2021 the California Legislature actually enacted Cal. Pen. Code § 13670, that provided that all California police agencies ban officer gangs within their department. Various stations in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have their station gangs, in which their deputy gangster members have station gang tattoos. Although Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna has promised to enforce Cal. Pen. Code § 13670 and rid the Department of deputy gangs, nothing has happened at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to rid or reduce deputy gangs at that agency. Realistically, nothing is going to happen. No one ever got elected to public office in this country by promising to protect the public from the police.
